Wildlife photography pulls me into the world in a way nothing else does. It’s raw, unpredictable, and entirely unscripted — nature moving on its own terms. There’s a rush in those unexpected encounters: a bear weaving through the forest, sea lions bellowing on the rocks, puffins tucked into cliffside burrows. Nothing is staged, nothing belongs to you. You’re just lucky enough to witness it.

What I love most is the reminder that every creature has a place in the story — that we’re all part of the same circle of life, each playing our role in a world that’s bigger and more interconnected than we can see. Wildlife makes me feel both small and deeply present, grounded in the moment and grateful for the chance to simply observe.

These images are my way of honoring that. A quiet thank-you to the wild.
